Renewing Our Commitment: Racemark x Healthy Seas

Racemark is proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with the Healthy Seas Foundation, a collaboration that reinforces our commitment to our 2030 vision for sustainability and circularity.

Healthy Seas is a global environmental initiative that recovers marine litter—especially abandoned fishing nets—and transforms it into new products through a circular economy model. This mission directly supports Racemark’s sustainability goals. One of our key suppliers, Aquafil, regenerates the nets collected by Healthy Seas into ECONYL®, a high-performance nylon thread we already incorporate into our automotive floor mats.

From 2018 to 2023, Racemark EU partnered with Healthy Seas and had the opportunity to witness this remarkable process firsthand. Our team visited Aquafil’s facility in Lake Garda to see how marine waste is reborn into premium materials. We also joined a clean-up dive in Croatia, where Healthy Seas divers recovered nets from the seabed—an unforgettable reminder of why this work matters.

We are thrilled to renew this relationship in 2025 and continue to advance our environmental goals through purposeful partnerships.

In the coming months, our team will participate in a sustainability training hosted by Healthy Seas, tailored specifically for Racemark. This will further empower us to integrate circular thinking across our value chain.
