We were the first company in the world to create a custom-fit carpet car mat. RACEMARK EU is a 100% family owned and operated company with manufacturing locations in Germany and Hungary.

Heritage

The RACEMARK brand was founded in 1964 by Bob Bailey,  Porsche of America team world class race car driver, and his teammate, Mark Donohue, on the principle of engineering excellence.

history & vision

  • 1964

    Founded by race car driver Bob Bailey and teammate Mark Donohue.

  • 1972

    Introduced the first custom-fit carpet car mat.

  • 1981

    Secured US Patent for floormat anchoring technology.

  • 1989

    Commenced production in Switzerland.

  • 2013

    Expanded production to Hungary.

  • 2015

    Established production in Germany, becoming the largest Tier 1 automotive floor mat supplier.

  • 2018

    Launched a new product line to serve both bespoke and high-volume needs.

  • 2019

    Initiated the Sustainability 2023 Vision.

  • 2023

    Set aggressive targets for sustainability by 2030.

2030 Vision 

To convert 100% of our products to 100% recycled content, recycle 100% of our waste, and be carbon neutral by 2030 by creating innovative product design.

We measure and report on KPIs to drive us toward this goal including, waste reduction, recycled content, recyclable content, waste recycled, renewable energy, and greenhouse gas emissions.
